Great campground! And of the season, so some things were done for the year but they want out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Also don’t forget to try the owners special pizza recipe it was delicious!
Fancy Gap was very nice. Best bath houses anywhere. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great location near parkway.
Very clean and very nice people...good pizza. Employees are have great information on local sites to see. I guess they book up the last weekend of Oct because of the fall colors. Hope to make it next fall for it.
The new owners are very nice and the camp grounds are very well maintained! Stayed 2 nights here in one of their deluxe cabins and was very impressed with how clean and cozy their cabins were! The camp ground itself was so nice and breathe taking and you will not be disappointed with a getaway at this KOA kamping experience!
We went tent camping here. The people are very nice and helpful, and it seems like a fine spot if you have a large RV. However, I cannot recommend it if you use a tent. The tent spots are very small and right on top of each other. We were sitting in the cigarette smoke of our neighbor, because his tent was 10 feet away from ours. The ground was grassy/muddy, with gravel where you put your tent. At night we could hear the interstate. The bathrooms were very nice. The firewood we bought at the office wasn't dry enough, so this resulted in very smoky and hard to light fires everywhere. This campground isn't bad at all, but it isn't great either.
